• Majority of all seafood is sourced locally from fishermen working within the Madang region and surrounding islands.

• 90% of all food is sourced locally, from the Highlands of Papua New Guinea and the village market where food artisans from the surrounding islands of Madang come to sell their exotic fruit and vegetables. 

• All artwork displayed throughout Madang Resort and Kalibobo Village is sourced from local Papua New Guinean artists.

• Harvest rainwater which is recycled and used throughout Madang Resort and Kalibobo Village.

• Bed linen/Towels – We change them every 3 days or weekly for stays longer than a week.

• Madang Resort staff conduct regular clean-ups of the nearby waterways and parks.
